Its available in finer counts and is often an alternative to aida or linen fabric. Stitchers often work with evenweave as a "step up" from aida and the most common count is 28. This is the same as 14 count aida (when stitched over two threads). Or 32 count evenweave which is the same as 16 count aida (when stitched over two threads) .
